Delta Step Code
Step Code is currently voluntary in Delta. If you submit your permit before May 1st, 2023, you are only required to meet the 2018 BC Building Code. After May 1st, Step Code becomes mandatory in BC and new homes are required to meet Step 3.
To comply with the new requirements, new construction will require up to three Step Code energy reports:

Pre-Construction Compliance Report (required for your permit application)
