An energy audit, also known as an EnerGuide evaluation or home energy assessment, is a standardized measure of your home's energy efficiency. The measurement is a service provided by an energy advisor.

Peter Moffatt
Founder
As one of Canada’s top building scientists, Peter has over thirty years of research experience and dozens of published papers. His collaborators include Natural Resources Canada, CMHC, and BC Hydro.

Peter is an expert in air sealing with decades of practical experience. He has trained more than 100 certified energy advisors, including many current industry leaders. Peter is president of HomeStep.ca.
Flynn Dixon Murdock
General Manager
Trained as a civil engineer, Flynn has been working with Peter since 2015. As a renovation specialist, he works to find a solution for every home.
Flynn is an NRCan-registered energy advisor and leads HomeStep.ca's existing homes team.
